“I look forward to learn the latest advancement in the waste-to-energy industry of different countries and to share with attendees how ASTM D6866 testing can benefit their operations especially those participating in greenhouse gas cap-and-trade programs and UN CDM projects,” Mr. Tamers says.
Based in Miami, Florida, Beta Analytic provides ASTM D6866 and CEN 15747 testing through its offices and representatives in London, UK; Beijing, China; and Nagoya, Japan. ASTM D6866 is a standard method used to determine the biogenic fractions of solid or liquid fuels and their combustion emissions. CEN 15747 is a standard used in Europe to determine the fraction in solid recovered fuels that come from biomass. Both methods are based on radiocarbon (carbon-14) analysis.
