About Beta Analytic

Headquartered in Miami, Florida, Beta Analytic is an ISO/IEC 17025:2005-accredited testing facility providing biobased content / renewable carbon measurements to top commercial organizations, government agencies, scientists and engineers.

Beta Analytic ​has been​ the world leader in Carbon-14 ​​measurements since 1979 and has unmatched expertise analyzing complex samples. The laboratory uses Accelerator Mass Spectrometry (AMS) technology for all analyses, giving the most advanced precision and accuracy.

In the early 2000s, BETA was selected to be senior advisor during the standardization of ASTM D6866, a method that employs radiocarbon dating technology to determine the biobased or fossil origin of carbon in solid, liquid and gaseous samples.
